Thesis Supervisor – end of 4th Semester
Students should contact their future supervisor at the end of the 4th semester of study so that they can register for a thesis seminar correctly for the following semester. The seminar is mandatory, and it has to be studied in the semester preceding the semester at the end of which the thesis is handed in.
The thesis supervisor for IDS students has to be a member of the academic staff from the Faculty of International Relations.
Bachelor’s Thesis Seminar – 22F300 (students enrolled 2022 – 22F301) – 5th semester
The bachelor seminar 22F300 (students enrolled 2022 – 22F301) has to be taken at the latest in the semester that precedes the one, in which the final thesis will be submitted.
The aim of the bachelor thesis seminar is to become acquainted with the requirements, elementary methodology, and sources, which are necessary for bachelor thesis proposal and its preparation. This is achieved through continuous work and consultations with a supervisor. Proposal consists of a specific title, thesis purpose, table of contents with sectional purpose of each chapter, and bibliography used or consulted in writing of the bachelor thesis.
The course has an irregular schedule; you will mostly cooperate with your thesis supervisor. Some tasks in the bachelor thesis seminar will also be managed centrally in Teams.
