Courses & Study Plan
Students of the IDS Master’s Degree are studying under the “C-ID” study plan and need to obtain 120 credits (ECTS) to earn their degree. For students who began their studies in previous academic years, study plans are available for download at the bottom of this page.
45 credits in compulsory courses (hP)

Intensive courses and how to register for them
- What they are. Visiting professors teach at FIR every semester, usually for 3 to 5 consecutive days.
- You register them like any other course in InSIS. Only courses arranged too late for the registration period appear separately, under “extra-semestral courses”.
- Check the course dates in the NOTE field of the course timetable before you register – that is the only place they are.
- Attendance is usually compulsory for the whole course, all 3 to 5 days. Missing a regular class because of it should stay the exception, and arrange it with that lecturer in advance.
