#innoweek with IDS
The Department of International and Diplomatic Studies (KMSD) is preparing events for International and Diplomatic Studies students as part of the Innovation Week #innoweek. We also welcome students of other programs offered by our and other faculties, or even Exchange students.
The events organized by the KMSD are divided according to the degrees of study and the year of the studies at the bachelor’s and master’s levels. However, in case of interest, students can participate in other events and thus get to know their other colleagues. The links for each event are below and are meant for your registration.
Changes may be made based on the status of registrations as of October 25, 2022. In this case, the registered student will be informed by email.
Students in the first year of the Bachelor’s program can participate in the Simulation of Globalization. This simulation will take place on Wednesday, November 2, 12.30-14.30 in SB 227.

Students in the second and third year of the IDS program can try the UN Model with their Czech peers. KMSD offers the UN Model in cooperation with the student faculty’s organization MUN Prague. The UN Model takes place in two groups:
- UN Model – Group 1: Tuesday, November 1, 9.00-13.00 in the auditorium NB C
UN Model – Group 2: Thursday, November 3, 9.00-13.00 in the auditorium NB C (canceled)

Students can also join a discussion at the American Center with Mr. Robert Strayer, Executive Vice President of Policy at Information Technology Industry Council, and Ms. Courtney Lang, Senior Director of Policy at Information Technology Industry Council. The discussion topic is “Securing Critical Infrastructure as a Joint Task for State and Private Sector”. When: Thursday, November 3, 10 a.m. Where: American Center, Tržiště 13, Praha 1.

For the IDS Master’s program, KMSD is preparing a discussion forum with external guests:
- Discussion forum Economic diplomacy: Monday, October 31, 14.30, online (with Mr Jakub Hladík, PhD)
